LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is a methodology that quantifies the inputs and outputs of products and services from raw material extraction to disposal, and evaluates the potential environmental impacts (such as carbon footprint, water footprint, etc.) throughout the life cycle. LCA is conducted in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards. By evaluating the life cycle of products and services, various improvement measures can be considered. Representatively, the EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for products and services is a transparent and objective report that utilizes the LCA methodology to publicly communicate the potential environmental impacts throughout the life cycle of products and services.
